The Military Museums
VOLUNTEERS WANTED!
Do you have a ½ day a week to volunteer engaging Canada’s youth?
Are you a born docent, interpreter or lecturer?
Do stories about real Canadians doing extraordinary feats interest you?
The Military Museums’ education programs offer a critical view of Canada’s identity and diversity through curriculum-connected programming. We are seeking volunteers for 2 new programs:
In “Break the Cipher” you will help students create and break WWI German ciphers and codes and for our “Explosive Math” program you will teach students how Canadian soldiers used light and sound at Vimy Ridge to find artillery.
Training, orientation and program overview provided.
Apply today to the Volunteer Resource Department by visiting The Military Museums to download an application or contact Estelle Guthro at (403) 974-2811 or cmmsvols@telus.net.
