John W. F. Bley is a retired Organic Chemist with a B.Sc degree. He spent 20 years of his career in Research and Development of Pharmaceuticals and the last 10 years in Regulatory Affairs, dealing with polymers in contact with foods.

He received his Technician Certificate as KD7MAQ in 2001, while snow-birding in Mesa, AZ and ended up with a General certificate with Morse Code in 2004. The same year, he obtained his Basic Certificate in Canada as VE6MAQ.

He further joined the QCWA, Chapter 151 as a Friend Member.
