QCWA President John Johnston, W3BE presented 3 awards of which one to convention Chair and President of Chapter 151, Ken Oelke VE6AFO. As well QCWA Director Ed Yoder, W3YMB and IARU President Dr Larry Price, W4RA both received awards.

There was an old radio and tube display along with tours to the Aero Space Museum, Calgary Exhibition & Stampede Casino and Stage West Theatre on Sunday. As well the ladies enjoyed shopping excursions and side trips of beautiful Calgary.

We even had our own Moon Base. The Calgary Space Workers Society put on an interesting demonstration on the hotel parking lot. They are a group desiring to live and work in space. Their principles are to support all space initiatives, space tourism and a more peaceful world. One day they plan to build and launch their own spaceship.
