Greetings from Chapter 151, Calgary Alberta, your 2006 QCWA Convention hosts. We had a luncheon meeting on May 8 where Long Service awards were presented by President Ken Oelke to:

        Les Card, VE6CA - 65 years<br>

At the meeting we also looked at three proposed logos for the 2006 convention and selected one. We are contemplating lapel pins. We are starting to put together a 2006 convention committee so we can begin planning.
</p>


Our luncheon meeting ended with a very interesting presentation by a young grade 11 student Liz Ferguson VA6LIZ who spent two weeks at the Johnson Space Center on a youth program. Liz is planning on attending university and getting a degree in space engineering.
